Frisco Railroad Bridge near
Wyandotte, Oklahoma
Frisco Railroad Bridge over Grand River.  This early day bridge crossed Grand River just south of the Twin Bridges.  I suspect that it was near the present day bridge.  The Neosho River and Spring River meet at Twin Bridges and form what is known as Grand River.  This river eventually flows into Grand Lake of the Cherokees.  Photo courtesy of L.     Linemen work on the telegraph lines during a flood on Grand River.  The wires run from the pole over to the bridge and along the side of the bridge to the other side of the river.  There is another man on the bridge at the first "V" between bridge sections.  A string of train cars is sitting on the bridge.  Notice that the water has almost reached the bottom of the bridge in the first and last pictures.  The middle picture shows the bridge during dry season.  Photo courtesy of Ginger Lueder.
