More Views From Hockerville

    This photo of the Hockerville classes of 1927 shows how big the town was at that time.  There are about 300 children shown in this picture that shows the entire school.  Now, there are only a few families living at Hockerville.
    The Dobson Mine, operated by the Federal Mining and Smelting Co. was located southwest of Hockerville and was a large operation employing many of the Hockerville men and others from the area.  This is a 1920s view of the mill.
