This attractive church is the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The adjacent house is the parsonage. In 1910 and other early years, the penny postcard was very popular and views such shown on this page were very common on these cards and people bought and sent the cards all over the United States. Many of these did not get thrown away and are a source of many early views of towns all over the country. |
