Miami, Oklahoma in the Beginnings
This picture was taken in 1895 and shows the east side of Main St. from Central south to First.  Two story building in upper right was a hotel and can be seen again in a later picture.

    Another view from 1908 shows a view looking south from what is now Main and Central.  Opera house is on the right side of this photo.  The hotel that is shown in the top picture is visible here just to the left of that tree.
A 1910 postcard shows the northwest corner of 4th and Main, later Central and Main.  The Crown Drug later occupied this building, which still stands.
