Picher Ice Plant

The Oklahoma-Kansas Ice Water Company served the Picher district during the early 1920s. Many homes were without electricity and those wagons were used to deliver ice to families with ice boxes. This company was sold to American Service Company in the late 1920s and operated under that name for many years. The plant was located on North Netta Street in Picher.
