Hockerville, Oklahoma looking north from the railroad tracks.  Bank is on left.  Large two story rooming house on the right side.  This bank building  can be seen across from the cavein in the picture on page 1.
Hockerville business district looking south from the tracks.  This is the area of the big mine cave-in that finished Hockerville.  It soon became an overgrown ghost town.
This picture was taken in the mid 1960s and shows the last buildings on Hockerville's main street.  This is taken south from where the first picture (above) was taken.  You can see the old bank building and the pole standing in front of it.  Also, the railroad track is visible.   Photo by John Schehrer
