Miami, Oklahoma in the Beginnings
This picture was taken in 1895 and shows the east side of Main St. from Central south to First. Two story building in upper right was a hotel and can be seen again in a later picture.

Another view shows a view looking north from what is now Main and Central. Opera house is on the left side of this photo. Bank is on right side at present location of First National Bank. A parade is taking place.
A 1910 postcard shows the northwest corner of 4th and Main, later Central and Main. The Crown Drug later occupied this building, which still stands.
