Quapaw, Oklahoma
This early view of the Imperial mine lists it as being at or near Quapaw, Oklahoma.   A 1958 underground mine map shows the mine located about 3/4 mile west of Quapaw.  There was very little mined out area and it is presumed that the mine was a failure.   Photo copy received at permission of owner who later sold the picture to another party.

Ontario smelter was located between Quapaw and Hockerville and was an early refiner of zinc ore.  The dates of operation are not known.
