When I took this picture in July, 1967 of the Douthat, Oklahoma post office it was the last business open in town. There were still several old houses and some old dilapidated shanties still there, but the end was near. Within a few years all of these structures were completely gone without a trace. Douthat School
These building housed the Douthat school during the mining days. It has long since disapeared.
